About Me
I am a certified yoga therapist and teacher, a PhD-trained biochemist, and someone who understands first hand the experience of being out of balance.
My career spans more than two decades, starting with scientific research and academia and including over 12 years of corporate medical roles across several countries (Canada, France, and Denmark). Working within high-performance and demanding corporate environments gave me a frequent exposure to the realities of nervous system overload and the challenges of maintaining my own sense of balance.
Alongside my corporate career, I have spent close to a decade teaching yoga and applying yoga therapy in both professional and personal settings. With extensive training in both traditional and integrative health approaches, I offer personalized mentorship that integrates evidence-based science and embodied therapeutic yoga practices.
These lived experiences have shaped my perspective, they inform my work and strengthen my ability to support others with clarity, steadiness, and insight. I specialize in supporting those experiencing chronic stress, anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, and major life transitions.

What to Expect in a Yoga Therapy Session
Yoga therapy is a holistic practice that draws on the wisdom of yoga, current scientific knowledge, and nourishing therapeutic connection to help someone in difficult times. Yoga therapists employ an inquiry-based, non-prescriptive model to support human experience and response. Our practice is to listen.
You are unique. Even if you have the same health issue as someone else - your life, your body, mind, and spirit may be impacted in different ways.
Private therapeutic yoga sessions are tailored to your specific health needs and goals.
After connecting with me, the first step is to fill out a client intake/informed consent form. As we start working together in personalized sessions, we begin by exploring your current health, well-being, and goals in order to create a yoga therapy practice tailored to your needs and goals - including movement, breath work, meditation, visualization, and guided relaxation.
After the session, I will provide you with a home yoga therapy practice in the form of video recordings, audio recordings, or a document. Through practice, you will learn what a sustainable practice looks like for you and which tools are most effective for you. At each subsequent session, we will assess and adjust your practice as you progress toward your goals. The number of sessions required to meet your goals will depend on, for example, the nature of your health condition and your goals.
